These Terms & Conditions govern your use of Filtbo, a Bible and devotional application operated by Gospel Animation ("Gospel Animation," "Filtbo," "we," "us," or "our"). By using Filtbo as a guest or by signing in, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

You must be at least 13 years old, or the applicable minimum digital-consent age in your country if higher, to use Filtbo independently. A younger user may use Filtbo only with appropriate parental or guardian involvement. Anyone purchasing Premium must have legal capacity to make the purchase or have a parent or guardian do so.
Filtbo provides Bible reading, Scripture search, saved verses, reading plans, devotional tools, offline Bible access, and Filtbo AI features. Features may change, be improved, become temporarily unavailable, or be limited depending on internet connection, device, account status, or service availability.
You may use Filtbo as a guest or sign in with Google. Guest information is primarily kept on the device. When you sign in, Filtbo may use Firebase/Google services to associate supported account data with your account and sync it. You are responsible for protecting your device and account credentials and for activity carried out through your account.
Filtbo may download an offline Bible package so supported Bible features can be used without an internet connection. During the first download, you may continue into the app while the download continues in the background. If the offline package is incomplete, Filtbo may require you to reconnect and finish the download before Offline Mode is available. Offline Mode does not make online-only services available without internet access. Features such as AI Chat and Premium purchase or upgrade may require a connection.
Filtbo AI is an assistance and study feature intended to help users explore Scripture and related questions. AI responses may be generated using a third-party AI provider and can contain mistakes, incomplete information, or interpretations with which you disagree. Do not rely on AI responses as a substitute for professional medical, legal, financial, pastoral, or other professional advice. AI Chat requires an internet connection unless Filtbo explicitly states otherwise.
AI access may be subject to usage limits, fair-use controls, account status, or temporary availability restrictions. Filtbo may stop an AI response when a permitted usage limit is reached and may provide an appropriate explanation rather than silently presenting an incomplete answer as complete. Text conversation limits and image-generation/editing limits may be managed separately.
When Chat History is enabled, Filtbo can save your AI conversations to your account so you can return to them later. Signed-in conversations are associated with your authenticated account. You can open AI Settings → Chat History and manually delete individual conversations. Non-deleted conversations are intended to be retained for up to 3 months and then removed through Filtbo's retention process. Guest history may be stored locally on your device. Deletion may not be instantaneous across every cached copy or device.
AI Chat may allow you to send images and voice messages. Filtbo AI may analyze images you provide and may convert supported voice input into text for processing. You should only submit content that you have the right to submit and that you are comfortable sending for AI processing. Images, audio, text prompts, and other material submitted to AI may be transmitted to the AI service used by Filtbo to provide the requested feature.
Where image generation and image editing are available, Filtbo may use an AI image service to create a new image from your instructions or modify an image you provide. Image generation and editing are subject to a combined limit of 3 image actions per user per day, unless Filtbo explicitly states otherwise. One generation or one edit counts as one image action. After the daily limit is reached, further image generation or editing requests may be declined until the allowance resets. Filtbo may apply reasonable anti-abuse measures to protect this limit.
You retain rights you have in content you submit, subject to the rights needed by Filtbo and its service providers to operate the requested feature. Filtbo does not claim ownership of your personal photos, recordings, or messages merely because you submit them. You are responsible for ensuring that images, instructions, and other content you submit or request to generate or edit do not violate another person's rights or applicable law.
Reading plans may provide reminders at times selected by you. If you grant notification permission, Filtbo may send phone notifications for reading-plan reminders and for completion of the offline Bible download. Notification delivery depends on your device, browser/app settings, internet connection, operating-system restrictions, and the notification service. We cannot guarantee that every notification will arrive at an exact time.
Filtbo may offer an optional Premium/Go Premium subscription or paid feature set. The price, duration, included benefits, and purchase terms shown at checkout control the transaction at the time of purchase. Payments may be processed by Paystack or another payment provider shown by Filtbo. Filtbo does not intentionally store your full card number, expiry date, or CVV. Premium features may require an internet connection and may not be available in Offline Mode. Refunds are handled according to applicable law, the payment provider's rules, and the purchase terms displayed at checkout.
Bible Challenge. The monthly Bible Challenge is free to join. The three players who finish a month without missing a day and have the most points receive free Premium access for the following calendar month. The reward is access only, has no cash value, and cannot be exchanged for money. Reading checks and results are verified by our servers, and Filtbo may disqualify anyone who cheats or abuses the challenge.
You must not misuse Filtbo, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with its security or availability, distribute malware, abuse AI limits, fraudulently obtain Premium access, impersonate another person, infringe another person's rights, or use the service for unlawful or harmful purposes. We may restrict access when reasonably necessary to protect users, the service, or third-party systems.
The Filtbo name, logo, interface, branding, original artwork, software, and other original materials are owned by or licensed to Gospel Animation and may be protected by intellectual-property laws. Bible translations, Scripture databases, APIs, fonts, libraries, and third-party materials remain subject to their respective licenses and rights holders. You may not copy, sell, redistribute, or reverse engineer Filtbo except where applicable law expressly permits it.
Filtbo depends on third-party services that may include Firebase/Google for authentication and cloud services, an AI provider such as Google Gemini for AI processing, Paystack for payments, Bible data services, notification infrastructure, and advertising services. Third-party services have their own terms, privacy practices, availability, and security measures. Filtbo is not responsible for independent third-party outages or policy changes.
Filtbo is designed as a Bible and devotional aid. Scripture references, devotional material, and AI-generated explanations are provided for informational and spiritual study purposes. AI output may be inaccurate or reflect a particular interpretation. You are responsible for evaluating information and, where appropriate, consulting the Bible, trusted teachers, or qualified professionals.
We may add, remove, redesign, or temporarily disable features, including AI, notifications, offline downloads, Premium features, or third-party integrations. We may update these Terms when the App, our practices, or applicable law changes. The "Last updated" date will be changed when material revisions are published.
You may stop using Filtbo at any time and may delete your account where that option is provided. We may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary, including for serious violations of these Terms, fraud, abuse, security risks, or legal requirements. Account termination does not remove rights or obligations that are intended to survive termination.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Filtbo and Gospel Animation are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or loss-of-data damages arising from use of the App, service interruptions, notification failures, third-party services, AI output, or reliance on information provided through the App. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
These Terms are intended to be interpreted under the laws applicable to Gospel Animation and the user's use of Filtbo, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights that apply in the user's jurisdiction. We encourage users to contact us first so we can try to resolve concerns informally.

This Privacy Policy explains how Gospel Animation ("Gospel Animation," "Filtbo," "we," "us," or "our") handles information when you use Filtbo. It covers guest use, Google sign-in, offline features, AI Chat, Chat History, images and voice, reading-plan notifications, Premium payments, and advertising.

Depending on how you use Filtbo, information may include your name, email address, Google account identifier, optional profile photo, language and appearance preferences, saved verses, reading progress, reading plans, Premium status, AI prompts and conversation history, and technical information required for app functionality. If you use AI image or voice features, the relevant image or audio is processed as part of your AI request.
We use information to provide and improve Filtbo, authenticate accounts, synchronize supported data, restore your preferences, provide AI responses, maintain Chat History, manage Premium access, deliver reading-plan and offline-download notifications when you permit them, prevent abuse, and keep the service secure. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
When you use Filtbo as a guest, supported profile and activity information is primarily stored in your browser or device storage. Offline Bible content is cached locally so supported reading features can work without internet access. Local storage can be lost if you clear app/browser data, uninstall the app, or reset your device.
If you sign in with Google, Filtbo uses Firebase/Google services to authenticate you and to store supported account data in Firestore. This can allow supported information, including your profile, reading activity, settings, and AI Chat History, to be associated with your account. Firebase security rules are used to restrict account data to the authenticated user where applicable. Google and Firebase may process technical information according to their own policies.
When you use Filtbo AI, the text you send and information needed to produce a response may be transmitted to the AI provider configured for Filtbo, which may include Google Gemini. AI processing is used to generate the requested response. Filtbo does not use your AI conversations to advertise to you. The AI provider may process requests according to its own service terms and privacy practices.
AI features may also receive images and voice messages when you choose to use those tools. Filtbo AI may analyze submitted images and may use AI image-generation or image-editing services when you request those features. Image generation and editing are subject to a combined limit of 3 image actions per user per day, unless a different limit is clearly displayed in Filtbo. We recommend not sending passwords, payment-card information, government identification numbers, or other highly sensitive information to AI Chat.
If Chat History is available and enabled, signed-in conversations are saved under your authenticated Filtbo account so you can reopen them from AI Settings → Chat History. You can manually delete individual conversations. Filtbo's current retention design is up to 3 months for non-deleted conversations, followed by removal through the app's retention process. Because the free version performs cleanup through the app rather than a paid database-retention service, cleanup may occur when the relevant history is accessed rather than at the exact instant the 3-month period ends.
Images, recordings, messages, and other content you voluntarily submit are used to provide the feature you requested. Filtbo may process an image so the AI can understand or describe it, and may transmit image or voice requests to the configured AI provider for processing. When image generation or editing is requested, the relevant prompt and, where applicable, source image may be processed by the AI image service used by Filtbo.
Image generation and editing share a combined allowance of 3 image actions per user per day, unless a different allowance is displayed in Filtbo. The limit is intended to control service usage and may be enforced using account and technical information. You control whether you submit such content. Please avoid submitting another person's private information without appropriate permission.
Offline Bible downloads are stored on your device for supported offline use. If you enable notifications, Filtbo may store the information needed to deliver your reading-plan reminders and offline-download completion notification, such as a notification subscription endpoint and reminder details. Notifications can be disabled through your device or browser settings. Delivery depends on the notification platform and your device settings.
If you purchase Premium, payment details are handled by the payment provider presented during checkout, such as Paystack. Filtbo is designed not to receive or store your full card number, expiry date, or CVV. We may receive or store limited transaction information needed to recognize Premium status, such as subscription status, account association, and expiry information.
Filtbo may display advertising, including through Google AdSense, where applicable. Advertising providers may use cookies, device identifiers, or similar technologies to measure and serve ads according to their own policies and your available settings. Premium users may receive an ad-free experience where Filtbo states that Premium includes it.
Depending on the features you use, Filtbo may interact with Firebase/Google, Google Gemini or another configured AI provider, Paystack, Bible data services, notification infrastructure, advertising services, and other technical providers. Each provider may process information under its own privacy policy and terms. We aim to send only information reasonably needed for the feature being used.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures available to Filtbo, including authenticated access controls and Firebase security rules for supported cloud data. No internet transmission, device, browser, or cloud service can be guaranteed to be completely secure. You should keep your device and account protected and avoid sharing login credentials.
Filtbo is family-friendly but is not intentionally designed to independently collect personal information from children under 13. Where local law sets a higher age, that higher age applies. Parents or guardians should supervise younger users and contact us if they believe a child has provided personal information inappropriately.
You may use Filtbo settings to change supported profile information, appearance and language preferences, manage notifications, delete AI conversations, sign out, or delete your account where those controls are provided. Depending on your location, you may have additional privacy rights under applicable law, including rights to access, correct, or request deletion of personal information.
Local data generally remains on your device until you remove it, clear app/browser data, or uninstall Filtbo. Account data stored through Firebase is retained according to the feature's purpose and your account status. AI Chat History is designed for up to 3 months unless you delete it sooner. When you delete your account, Filtbo will remove supported account data from its systems, subject to limited technical, legal, fraud-prevention, or payment-record requirements where retention is necessary.
Third-party providers used by Filtbo may process or store information in countries other than the country where you live. For example, Google services and payment or notification providers may use infrastructure outside Nigeria. By using the relevant features, you acknowledge that processing may occur internationally, subject to applicable law and the providers' policies.
We may update this Privacy Policy when Filtbo gains new features, changes its services or providers, or when applicable law changes. Material updates will be reflected in the "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review this page periodically, especially before using new features such as AI, notifications, or Premium services.
